ಅಂತರಂಗದ ರೋಗ ಚಿಂತೆ ಪರಿಹರಿಸಿ ಮೋಕ್ಷ
ಪಂಥ ಸಾಧಿಸು ಧನ್ವಂತ್ರಿ ಪ್ರಭುವೆ ।।ಪ।।
ಸುರರು ಅಸುರರು ಕೂಡಿ ಶರಧಿಯಾ ಮಥಿಸಲು
ಕರದೋಳಮೃತ ಪಾತ್ರೆ ಧರಿಸಿ ನೀ ಬಂದೆ ।।೧।।
ಇಂದ್ರ ನೀಲಾಂಭ್ರಣಿ ಸನ್ನಿಭರೂಪ
ಚಂದ್ರ ಮಂಡಲದೊಳು ನಿಂತು ರಾಜಿಸುವಿ ।।೨।।
ಯೋಷಿತ ರೂಪದಿ ಸುಧೆಯನು ಕೊಟ್ಟು
ಪೋಷಿಸಿದೆಯೋ ಇಂದಿರೇಶ ದಿವಿಜರಾ ।।೩।।
Transliteration:
P: Antharangada roga chinte pariharisi moksha
pantha saadisu dhanvantri prabhuve
1. Suraru Asuraru koodi sharadhiyaa mathisalu
karadholamrutha paathre dharisi nee bandhe
2. Indra neelaambhrani sannibaroopa
chandra mandaladholu ninthu raajisuvi
3. Yoshitha rupadi sudheyanu kottu
poshisidheyo indiresha divijaraa
Translation:
Cure me from my inner ills and sorrows, and show me the path to Moksha, Oh Lord Dhanvanthri (God of medicine)!
When the Devas and Asuras were churning the ocean, you came holding a vessel of Amrutha in your hand.
You shine like the resplendent Blue Sapphire amongst the heavenly bodies.
You took the feminine form (Mohini), and nourished the celestial beings with Amrutha, O the husband of Lakshmi Devi!
