A humble attempt to read, record and share dasa sahitya. We have started this website with two purposes: (a) Provide a one-stop page for translation and transliteration of devarnamas. (b) Guiding ourselves through a musical (by learning/composing tunes) and spiritual (by meditating upon the meaning) journey.

We hope to upload about 2-3 songs every week. With at least 10000 to start with (in the reference book), we have enough to keep us occupied for a lifetime.

Shri Gurubhyo Namaha!

Reference: Book of 10000 devarnamas compiled by Dr. Aralumallige Parthasarathy.

Of course, we are not the first ones to compile Dasa Sahitya online. Here are links to a few others, which compile lyrics/renditions to some extent (very rarely did we find versions which had meanings):

Karnatik.com has lyrics to several dasa sahityas along with their biographies. For instance, here’s their Purandaradasa page.
